Stephen earned his J.D. from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University in 2008 and was admitted to practice law in North Carolina the same year.

His practice includes representing contractors and design professionals in construction litigation, business litigation, and labor and employment matters. He is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar and Federal District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina. Stephen is also a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and Business Law sections.

Prior to starting his own firm, Stephen served as corporate counsel for a large work site and utilities contractor in Raleigh, NC overseeing both the legal and human resources departments.
